The concept of Design has always been key to Broadleaf and the way in which we have developed our product.
Broadleaf Design was formally created in 2002 to cater for our expanding portfolio of joinery and green oak projects which were always by their very nature bespoke. It offers a specturm of services including product sourcing & supply, construction and if required, consultancy.
Although a specialist service Broadleaf Design does not aim to be exclusive. Most commonly we work on oak staircases, internal joinery, green oak roofs and windows in domestic properties. Projects range from single trusses or simple island units to feature windows, complex staircases, panelled rooms and complete roofs and you can see from the photo gallery that we have already undertaken a broad spectrum of projects all varying in focus, style & size.
Timber used in Broadleaf Design projects is carefully selected for its specific purpose by Broadleaf. It is primarily European Oak, but other timbers are introduced where appropriate. Broadleaf Design solutions can sometimes include other natural materials such as glass, stone and steel as well as reclaimed materials. We have over time established links with specialist suppliers of these materials and can source them if required.
