| Broadleaf Antique
Oak boards create a stunning, gently aged looking floor with rich chestnut brown tones and a soft patina on the top surface.
The 150mm boards feature plenty of figure and beautiful crown cut grain highlighted in a slightly darker shade by the ageing process. They are tongue & grooved all round and the majority are 2000mm in length.
Antique Oak contains some open knots and cracks which will need to be filled before final sanding and sealing. Alternatively we can fill and sand this floor before delivery in our workshops. Antique Oak is suitable for use over under-floor heating.
In terms of finishing, we would recommend Broadleaf Hardwax Oil to bring out the natural colour of these beautiful boards. Cut nails can be added to the top surface for a slightly rustic, truly authentic feel.
